Last Week
(Report, Action Outcome and Presentation Plan)
Action Outcome
1. Posters
The posters were up (completely) for about one week and a half, but unfurtunately, some had been taken off because someone ripped the edges of two of them. However, the time they were there I saw students taking their time to read them and to stop while walking to have a look at them. Here is a video of how they looked across the hallway:

2. Meeting with Mrs. Patricia
I had my meeting with Mrs. Patricia and it was great! I gave her the short report I designed for the meeting and basically explained her what the results of my investigation were. She was really concerned with the percentage of people who said that they hadn't been taught how to revise for their exams (52%) and with the fact that most students study the day before and listen to music while studying. She told me she had already started working with learning styles on primary, but that she haven't thought on applying them on teaching students how to study, so she thanked me for bringing that up with my project. I also told her about my web-page and she said she was going to look at it and use it next year to explain the topic to the teachers during her assemblies. In the end, she gave me a space in the calendar to make a short assembly with 7th grade students because we discussed the importance of making students aware of the webpage. The assembly is going to be next wednesday 29th of May. In the end, she thanked me again for showing the results to her and congratulated me for my great job! :)
Here is the final report I gave to her:

Report
The last part of my personal project was making a report of my process.
This was the first draft of the report I sent to my supervisor for her to correct it:

Skills
The ATL skills I used on this stage of the project were:
Social skills
Communicating Skills
Social skills
- Help others, when appropriate, and encourage contributions from others. (In this case, I helped Mrs. Patricia to improve something that was weak in the community, and I encouraged her to make changes and contributions in order to improve the way students revise and learn).
- Build consensus through listening sensitively, discussing and compromising. (During the meeting, I listened to Mrs. Patricia and discussed with her the themes we talked about but I also compromised to keep encouraging students to use my webpage, which is why i'm going to make an assembly with 7th graders).
- Help others; facilitate the success of others. (basically all of my project is to help others to improve their study methods, but actually doing the posters and pasting them where they could see them, as well as making a webpage accessible for every student was the best way in which I could've had helped).
Communicating Skills
- Write for different purposes. (I wrote 2 documents in this stage: The report to guide my meeting with the head of section and my final report)
- Use a variety of media to present to an audience. (This is referring to the presentation I will have to make to 7th graders, which needs to be fun and entertaining so they actually find it interesting and are curious to go to the webpage).
